He's interviewed with the host lady from 20h news show. He has a pretty good accent and is very fluent. I couldn't believe Billy Madison could understand everything his French tutor was saying though, no way Jose(ph).
Well the interviewer described him as a Francophile but I'd say most French people and myself and the people that really speak French regularly and correctly, a lot of us are more malade (sick) than Francophile.
Ok so I spelt mold before without a 'u' and just staining (painting) over some of that mould on the trellis or bannister, the white parts. Now I should have used the technique of apportioning a small amount of white paint, letting it thicken with time, and then applying to avoid viscosity and accidental drippage.
Now let's look at the colloquial term in Spain using the verb pringar, generally pringar is stain, such as I was having drippage due to high viscosity white paint and it was pringando a bit on the grey paint and a pain to wipe up (off panes).
Now let's consider the common colloquialism in Spain with the adjective form:
- 1.COLOQUIAL•ESPAÑA[persona] Que es ingenuo y se deja engañar fácilmente para hacer cosas que otros no quieren hacer."es tan pringado que acabó haciendo las fotocopias para todos sus compañeros"
- 2.COLOQUIAL•ESPAÑA[persona] Que suele pagar las culpas por una falta o delito cometidos por otra persona."aunque eran sus compañeros los que armaban jaleo, el maestro castigó a la misma pringada de siempre
In the hobby world of American politics I like to follow, the political incumbents and their watchers and annalists and protectors and enemies (ie the media) would generally think of everyone as some kind of pringado or sin vergüenza (shameless).
