Benji's birthplace, Penrith, hottest place on earth Sunday at over 117 degrees

My car was showing 48 celcius which is 118 degrees, it's possible Mt Druitt was even hotter than Penrith as there's no official weather station there. I fell asleep in my green room and it was even hotter than 48. I woke up drenched in my sweat with a headache from the heat after a one hour catnap. No fan in that room. So hot. Had to go to mall then backyard kiddie pool.

I have never felt heat like that ever since 1976 excepting summer 2006 in Phoenix in July was so hot, comparable. However this 117 was even worse. Still they had that same heat in the area in 1939 so I wouldn't go banging my climate change drum just yet.
