b2 - hit, b3 - hit, b4 hit and sunk
Best of Both worlds ? No. Wilmott is not a nice part of Sydney, one of
the roughest, poorest areas in NSW. Even my bank manager in Sydney
suggested I leave the area asap. More cockroaches than people. Perhaps
the name of the property should be "Between a Rock and a Hard Place"?
The bus station is a Mount Druit, not an area you want to be in late at
night unless you're street wise.
The description of the area "being between the mountains and the
beaches" paints a much rosier picture than reality, I was happy to
leave Willmot.
I didn't feel at all welcome during my stay.
Which is a disgrace considering the amount of $$ charged !
As an emergency stay here, otherwise have a good look around. For the
same price, I stayed in a 5* very secure apartment overlooking the very
beautiful Chatswood centre with a very polite, professional Japanese
couple.
The house in Willmot smelled of used cat litter tray, no air con and
doors are kept closed to keep the cat in !
I was given a towel to use but I think it had been used on the dog
first.
All in all, a complete nightmare, high cost yet very low budget
accommodation in a real bad part of town.
