Just finished work, around 2233.... Sitting in the main dispatch area at work. Normally I try to own the tv upstairs in the kitchen but down in the dispatch area, best not to get too territorial.

Right now things are pretty quiet. I actually took Saturday off, I kind of had some car issues. Hoping that won't come back to bite me.

I did more counseling with the Colorado helpline this morning, this time talking to Slone. Talking to the new trainee duty officer here, a woman, around 50 years old I'm guessing. Very polite company.

I went to church yesterday and ended up talking with a young lady there saying she'd graduated a Masters degree in elementary schooling but couldn't attend graduation day ceremony coz of COVID. She really wanted to dress up in her fancy outfit.

I can tell you most left leaning liberal arts university faculties are religious cults. So it's ironic they would write about some other religious cult and not see the log in their own eye. Even as far back as 1998 we were being indoctrinated that being gay is normal (nowadays it's being transgender). Only non gay people get confused, and it's probably coz they're gay, or as we know twenty years later, transgender. In other words, the grown ups of this church are quick to root out and dismiss the heretics (I was telling the lady last night how it says 'excluded' on my university paperwork), and project their insecurities and gaslight the remaining population of do-gooding idealistic hypocritical morons left behind and the sensible kids that have to just shut up in the cult. 

This does not bode well for the future.

Today's discussion: what is a cult? Is everything a cult? Inspired by some guy in Queensland who, along with his Mrs, rake in half a million dollars every year saying they're Jesus and Mary Magdalene, not 'like' them but actually them, but not 'like' them.

It begs the question, what the hell is a cult anyway? I imagine from a religious perspective, Islam is not a cult inasmuch as praying to God is concerned, but, to be frank, I rarely want to pray with Muslims because in part, I find their Arabic yodelling chanting annoying if I'm often exposed to it. It never actually annoys me but this is because I'm not over exposed to it. It's like Taylor Swift music, if I were over exposed I'd feel like I was stuck in a cult. Probably Taylor Swift is a cult leader, it's even said she's a cult movie director and has a cult following.

Many journalists, news media, look like priesthoods to me, instead of molesting kids like the Vatican or being closet homosexual like the Vatican you have to commit grievous amounts of adultery and drug abuse to fit in with the 'good priests' (honest journalists). Is it all one big stinking morass of idolatry and cults everywhere? Football? Race car driving? McDonald's? Plastic bottles? If I have all the Taylor Swift shirts and skirts and pink socks and my 'leave Taylor alone!' viral videoclip, is it possible to be deprogrammed and rescued from the cult? Can I be rescued from the cult of Tom and scientology AND the cult of Fox news channel?

Who can save me from the cult of France? Isn't France just one giant cult?

My sister's 51st birthday today, so old but still a narcissist psycho nutjob no doubt.... Guess we were all born into a hellish community... Anyway the kids called her a few days ago and said happy birthday... She'll be a festering pile of resentments til she dies no doubt, I know how she feels.

Although I can't say for sure, my understanding is Putin is a ok, no cancer, not cornered, no coup. I think Christopher Steele is full of shit and has a reputation for making shit up against Trump to the FBI. I think Tony Blair and everyone else is wrong to think Russia's leadership cadre aren't behind him and plotting against him and he's got cancer and all this crap.

I'm not buying it, I think Putin is probably doing fairly well in his health and probably feels like he can withdraw whatever, whenever from Ukraine and not feel worried about being chased or invaded. Maybe he feels like the border with Ukraine is safer now. I don't think Putin is very stressed out. I'm not sure he's getting Alzheimer's or anything like that.
