On public xport. A colleague specialled into city north from depot, quick ride. I took off my work shirt and hivis vest. On tram now. The tram was like an institution in sydney then ripped out before I was able to use it, before 1980 I guess. They bought a carriage in Seattle apparently and display it there as the Sydney to Bondi tram. This tram I'm on now is pretty new and apparently the tracks were built by a company from Espain. Can't remember the name. The final product is great along with alot of the tunnels the State government is producing, however building the tram lines took forever. The company from Espain blamed the underground electricity maps/ tunnels etc, there was a lot of litigation.  The way the State government just blocked the city everywhere drove so many small businesses out if business. Excellent time to buy a cheap frozen yoghurt shop but you'd be struggling to make enough for the rent.

This is my first time on the sydney tram but I rode the Newcastle tram and it's the same looking deal. The government buses in sydney and Newcastle used to be the same but now it's all being privatized bit by bit. I'm still with the government.

Frankly I'm pretty sure I could get by ok just running my own gardening business. I now charge minimum $50 per hour and there's so much market I'm fairly confident I could make an acceptable income from it enough to live on without bus driving.  It'd be ok once I got used to all the exercise and slimmed down and got all muscular.
