Can you believe this? That Australian guy recently on the news that was killed in Canada.... Turns out he played  for same soccer team as my son... Just got an email about it:

This Saturday, 10th August, Asquith Soccer Club will be paying tribute and celebrating the life of former player, Lucas Fowler, who recently lost his life in tragic circumstances.

Lucas was a long term player with the Club and there are a number of friends and former teammates who still play with Asquith SC in our Mens All Age 5 today.  With this in mind, the Club will have a guard of honour for our MAA5 before their 3pm game at Asquith Park this Saturday, followed by a minute's silence before kick off.  


Gee I wouldn't mind playing indoor soccer on weekends...

Man that's wild. Also one of my Canadian besties from way back... His last name is Dyck.... Same as Leonard Dyck that was supposedly killed by same party as Fowler and his American girlfriend Chyna Deese. Emailed Chris to ask if he's related to Leonard Dyck but no answer. Also there's a Texan fugitive running around and despite finding dead bodies of supposed culprits I think actually no weapons have been recovered from them.

Just got spooked by noise sounding like running on my houses floorboards. Not first time I hear it. It's so loud always sounds like a kid is running around the house. Still don't know what makes that noise. Possum in the roof??? Plus we have this giant dead tree rubbing the roof in the wind now making creaking noises. I'm going to need to borrow a ladder.
