Tortilla de patatas

Hey we've probably covered this topic but anyway let's revisit it. It's unquestionably the one signature dish that is most common to all of Spain's various regions. Even if they fought each other for three years during the civil war verging into world war 2. Or they still habitually hate each other now such as the Madrid people and the Barcelona people. Strange to say, apart from historical and linguistic ties. They also share tortilla de patata.

Making one now (cough cough F*ck Canada! Random screams... Drag the kid with tourette's away). You can see, pelo patatas y luego las corto en pedazitos). Also onion and garlic. Lo friyo todo... not even sure if that's how you spell I fry. Next batter some eggs. Batir
.. Batter. Good old romans.

Add sal (a salt). Drain oil and add egg batter. Use torrillera for frying both sides otherwise flip over with a plate (un plato). Serve cold. Available in most bars in Spain. Potato fritata. Potatoe fritata if your name is Quayle.

Vocabulary:

Sal... Salt/ leave!

Tortillera... Specialized tortilla frypan/                         lesbian

Pelo... I peel/ hair

Canadian... Canadiense

Cabrón... Big goat / dude-jerk-ass-asswipe-dick-fool-sucker

Guante grande... Big glove

People in Spain be adding peas. Or mushrooms or chili peppers whatever floats your boat. Most commonly just potato onion and garlic.

Let's consider some tortilla related questions....

Q... I'm black from Somalia . I live in Minnesota and love bluegrass music but if my African American brothers find this out they might beat me, can I have mayonnaise on my tortilla? Sincerely, Sword of Allah.

A... Sí and that's with an accent on the i in sí so that's not if. Consider a homemade mayonnaise superior to the supermarket stuff. Will forward you the recipe Sword of Allah. Cheers.
