Red Herring, new jetty to hitch to

Ok,

It was one of those Lou Reed perfect days today although as he was a heroin junky and his music too edgy, maybe more of a Mozartian rococo music style perfect day, you decide.

I think after various years of various varieties of hells, I'm well placed to enjoy happy days like today.

Kind of starting backwards, I swam from Red Herring just in my 🩲 underwear, a life jacket, a black pair of perfectly fitting flippers and my tight fitting plastic sandals as hand gloves, back to the sailing club where I had left my shirt, shirt, towel, keys, phone, three kids, etc.

I had just dropped the kids off at the sailing club, motoring from Newport. Near Flying Fox cafe, Mona Vale, Newport. Tying on at the club looked a little messy but turned out fine. Basically the back end of the boat was going perpendicular to the pontoon instead of parallel and the bow was too close to another boat. Anyway we sorted that out and organised a few things and I left the kids at the clubhouse, motored Red Herring to her mooring then put on my snorkel and goggles and flippers and hand gloves, with a tight life jacket on, all in my underwear after having packed up Red Herring and kind of accidentally crapping in the shower while standing up twelve hours earlier in zee crib (maisson Benji with a french Canadian accent). Slipped into the water and swam a hundred metres or so through the gentle waves and current to shore.

Grab this grab that and driving kids home for dinner in the comfortable SUV.

Prior to in Newport we found a perfect jetty to tie onto within easy walking distance of Mona Vale's excellent Flying Fox cafe and park. We easily sat at the jetty a few hours enjoying cards and hot boiled two minute noodles on Red Herring's cooker.

Prior to that it was another great morning of kids sailing at the sailing club. 'They're a bunch of wizards back there'* at the club on Sundays I can tell you. What a great day. I normally had been driving bus on Sunday afternoons for double pay but this was much better. Excellent.

Chuck baby (and Cammo)

 1. Où a commencé la visite du roi à Paris ?

Au pied de l’Arc de Triomphe, devant la flamme du tombeau du soldat inconnu.

https://youtu.be/5FZvdtwl7wM?si=ULWHWMOyN43sVH7e

As in the king and queen of England. I normally don't give the two a lot of thought but my new french teacher, a man (un homme), was hellbent on watching Sarcozy the president of France receiving their highnesses (the British monarchs) at the Versailles glasshouse or somewhere. Chuck looks like he's enjoying himself and in ok health. Prior to that he'd visited Romania and Germany but not immediately before that but in preceding months. This lady visit was less than a month ago now, almost a month ago. Terribly close to England, France is. The two countries having a tremendously violent past together. I tell you the French language is a true marvel and a thing of beauty. Exquisite and superb. However I found Salieri's subject matter terribly boring and he reminded me of me when I was a language teacher, coming with shoddy unprepared lessons that are a tremendous bore.

I came up with the nickname Salieri for Sam, the teacher, as I was listening to classical music after the class and they were playing some pleasant music which turned out to be (Antonio) Salieri. I don't think the real Salieri murdered mozArt and I think the Amadeus movie is a real character assassination of Salieri.

Anyway the classes will be boring if we keep up with the Franco Anglo relationship, what an absolute bore. Don't worry Chuck and Cammo, you guys were the most interesting part and looking at Liz Truss like a sex object. I liked Cammo's necklace that's for sure.

Classes are Tuesday. Sammy Sal was asking who organises all the royal visits? I think it's this guy that says, 'it's me, isn't it?'

You wouldn't believe me but I found a Blue Scarab charm lying around today. My client said it wasn't hers so I told her I'd give it to my daughter. This client speaks Spanish, so does Sam I'm told...

Tony Abbott in Raymond Terrace discusses next national plebiscite in Australia held in coming weeks

Tony Abbott was prime minister of Australia around ten years ago and I referred to him recently as the Murdochs got him to join the Board of their fox corporation. I think they want to own the vape kids market or something. I really do think that.

Tony's location is worth mentioning. Myself and the lads from the William IV heritage era boat will be chugging her up to Raymond Terrace from Newcastle harbour in a few weeks I suppose. We'll also be sleeping on board that night. William IV was a monarch of England after Victoria however unfortunately I am fairly ignorant about him and his reign. The original William IV was the first paddle steamer built in Australia in 1831. Eventually I think she was sold in Hong Kong.

We know the English have done some crazy shit like getting the Cantonese addicted to opium and kidnapping thousands of slaves from India to dump in Fiji or Queensland to improve race relations with the locals or have as slaves for sugar plantations.

Unfortunately, Australian pedagogy is a major issue as most Australians don't learn anything much about British monarchs. Shipping in Australia, what a strong point. Sugar plantations and slavery. Often the slavery of Anglo Saxons isn't mentioned either however the conditions of many of the first convict settlers was extremely cruel.

I think there was an element of betrayal between the English settlers and the first Australians over the years however generalisations are imprecise and lead to scapegoating which is a common event in Australia. Recently I was watching a story from an ABC News journalist, a white northern European looking lady, if we must discuss race (we must). She was noting that the aboriginal boss of a certain South Australian tribe that were allotted around forty million dollars for mining royalties was probably corrupt (he certainly looked like a corrupt little Australian politician no doubt). Other people from the village were not getting their fair shares. So the do gooder second grade tripe the '-yes/no- debate' is spoon feeding the folks over the legacy media is shallow.

Corruption and large amounts of money to take over do not distinguish race. In fact, it's not clear where all the money earmarked for the Aboriginals is going but obviously it's not going to them directly in many cases.

Also you cannot legislate civilization. Consider the rugby and the lack of civilization that represents. You can't just legislate a solution to that or just make a Hollywood movie or movement and fix that.

Ok now watch Wynona Ryder's character shoot Christian Slater's character's finger off (it's just pretend)....

Do Aboriginals need a voice because they never actually developed an alphabet? Is Tony Abbott actually Martha Dumptruck from the movie Heathers (not 'like' her but actually her)?

Vote yes!

(Or) NO!
